Ulana Bihun
Founder · Educational Therapist
Specializing in early literacy, sensory and social-emotional learning, and complex learning profiles
Ulana has spent more than ten years teaching and supporting children in New York City and Los Angeles. She holds a dual master's degree from NYU in Early Childhood Education and Early Childhood Special Education, and has taught as an adjunct instructor at NYU's Steinhardt School of Education.
During Ulana's classroom years, at schools including The Cooke School, Quad Preparatory School, LREI, and PS 41, she co-taught alongside renowned, nationally respected speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, pediatric neuropsychologists, and developmental specialists. She watched the same reading program work for one child and fail another. It's where she learned what no certification teaches: the method matters less than the collaboration and individualization around it.
She's now based in Los Angeles, where she works with students from Brentwood School, John Thomas Dye, Seven Arrows, Curtis, and Piper, among others. She continues to support NYC families, including students from Dalton, Horace Mann, Saint Ann's, PS 234, Churchill, and Lycée Français. Ulana also accepts clients through California's Self-Determination Program, making her services accessible to families beyond those paying privately.
Sarah Gorley
Educational Therapist
Specializing in structured literacy and math
Sarah Gorley has more than 20 years of experience in K–12 education in both the United States and the United Kingdom. She is an Educational Therapist who specializes in reading and math, working one-on-one with students using research-based methods to build literacy and academic skills. Her primary specialty is the Wilson Reading System, intensive, systematic reading instruction for students whose difficulty with print has made reading feel harder than it needs to be. She also has experience supporting executive functioning and implementing IEPs.
Sarah has worked as a Math Specialist, Reading Specialist, Instructional Coach, and Head of Learning Support, partnering closely with administrators, teachers, and families on data-driven strategies that help students succeed. She cares deeply about helping students who struggle with reading and math, and works to make learning engaging while helping each child see their own strengths.
Sarah holds a Master's-level qualification in Special and Inclusive Education and Administration, along with teaching credentials in both the UK and the US.
